Great news. Latest pathology report shows clean margins and both lymph nodes negative for cancer cells. Hopeful indication that they won't have to be aggressive in follow up treatment. Wonderful news!
Day 3 Post Surgery - Lot's of rest between walks down the hall. Sarah gets stronger every minute. She continues to push herself, probably against better judgement sometimes. At least her hard head makes her hair feel softer. Tomorrow may be the day she gets to go home. We think she is ready, although on this Friday night, she continues to remind the kids that they should go home now because they "have school in the morning". She is still on meds.
Sarah's recovery is progressing nicely. Thank you to everyone for the continued thoughts and prayers.
